The Renaissance Autumn Collection

The Renaissance Autumn collection is inspired by our renewed interest in the 1960 fashion trends and events infused with our current fashion culture and events.

The South African fashion culture mostly the Kofifi/vintage culture tells us that our grandparents had big dreams despite their limitations.

We named the products using characteristics of people who inspired and shaped our today.

The Two colours were inspired by the unpredictability of women

The sleeves represent how women can be bold and solicitous.

The character of the dress is inspired by women who led businesses at a time when it wasn’t popular for women to do so, at a time when it was considered or viewed as an illegal activity, women who fought for the allowance for women to express their needs and incorporated their requests for women’s right at a time when women were treated as second class citizens. These women went out of their way to ensure their kids were well fed and have the best education and broke the status quo.
