How to dress for your skin undertone

Whilst figuring out what works for your personality is hard, figuring out what works for your skin tone doesn’t get any easier.

Today we are expanding on the steps of what it takes to figure out the perfect outfit. We are talking about which color outfits work best according to your skin tone.

Our skin tone fall under 3 categories:

Cool, Warm and Neutral

Cool- your skin has a bluish undertone

Warm- Has a greenish or yellowish/golden undertone. Olive complexions also fall in the warm category.

Neutral- Is hard to determine; you can't tell if you're warm or cool.

How to discover you skin undertone:

  1. Look for the vains on your wrist

  2. Color of your eyes

  3. The most dominant color on your skin

  4. Hair color

Choosing colors depending on the skin undertone:

Cool - Bright blue, royal blue, sapphire, emerald, amethyst, deep purples, lavender, and lilac snow.

Warm- Shocking pink, cerise, ruby, and bright rose.

Neutral- Gray, navy, and pristine white.

Not all your clothes will match your skin tone perfectly but making an attempt not to go far off of what works for your skin type is a great formula to getting your outfits to work.
